6:00 pm: Intermediate Karate Class6:00 pm: Intermediate Karate Class – One student at a time, Wasenshikan (the Place of the Peaceful Warrior) Dojo builds character, perseverance, strength, and confidence with the practice of Ryukyu Kempo Karate. All students are welcome regardless of fitness, background, or skill level as long as they bring their best. Intermediate class is offered two days a week. We build on basic karate techniques by adding bogu kumite (protected sparring), weapons kata (traditional series of movements), and deeper practice of kata. All intermediate students must attend at least one kihone class per week. Students may measure progress by testing for belt rank during the kihone class.
