Advanced Karate Classes

One student at a time, Wasenshikan (the Place of the Peaceful Warrior) Dojo builds character, perseverance, strength, and confidence with the practice of Ryukyu Kempo Karate. All students are welcome regardless of fitness, background, or skill level as long as they bring their best.

Advanced classes for kids 6-12 are offered two days a week. We build on the techniques of the basic class and add bogu (protected sparring) and weapons kata. Students must attend kihone class to participate in the advanced class--fundamentals are important! Testing for belt rank occurs in the kihone class for beginner and advanced students.
